https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-main-ingredient/201303/fear-vs-powerThis week felt went by very fast. Most learning came through the form of discussions we've had. Over the past week we finished up watching the Crucible and reading act 3 of the Crucible. We continued the Music connection sheets and the two column notes. We continued on the ideas of fear and power and how they can change you. Fear is what causes Parris to change his views so much. The fear of being disliked. He first rejected the idea of witchcraft until the people were on board and then he jumped on. Now he is against Hangings because of his fear of being murdered because of them. Fear changes you. Power also does. The girls all have power and so do the townsfolk. Once the people gain power all goes to chaos. People are being charged left and right of witchcraft. The people know that it's wrong but they do it anyways.
