Bryan has been a reader since he can remember. His parents read to him everyday as he was growing up, which really helped him pick up books on his own. Bryan enjoys books very much. Books and others written words, such as poems, are a source of information and a view into the minds of others. You may read because you can relate to whats depicted, or because you want to experience a wild and outrageous adventure. He believes that to be a good reader, all you have to do is feel engaged in the story being told. Whether that story is a deep and meaningful poem written by a famous poet or a funny tweet from your best friend is up to you but all you need to do is want to read the written text. Bryan feels its easiest to read when you feel engaged, such as the text being relatable or he being interested in the subject that is being written about. He finds it hardest to read if he feels forced into it, such as a school assignment. When Bryan chooses a book, the first thing that catches his eye is the title. If the title is intriguing, he will be curious. The back of the book is next although its read with a grain of salt as it doesn't tell the full story. Bryan then will read at least the first 3 chapters before he can really make a decision on the book. He believes a good book should have a good mix of well rounded characters, story and a surprise factor of some degree. Bryan loves to read and he reads very much when he is at home. almost as soon as he finishes a book he picks up a new one. He feels reading is necessary and enjoyable. It can expand the scope of our mind and imagination
Bryan has always loved to write. Bryan learned to write at an in early age in school and at home. A wonderful environment and people helped him a lot in the struggle to learn to write. Bryan believes people learn to write to express themselves in a way that can be recorded and shared with many or few throughout time. People also write to inform others of problems or situations about themselves or other thing in the world. Bryan believes a person, in order to write well, must have the necessary vocabulary to translate words onto paper. Nowadays many don't need a decent vocabulary because of the capabilities of computers and auto-correct. You also need a motive to write, much the same as reading, whether it be you just like to write or you have a great idea for a book and although you have never been the best writer, you use your interest in the idea to be a better writer. Bryan likes to write stories. He has never been the best at writing and doesn't like to write non-fiction, but he does like creating and putting his imagination on paper. When he writes, he never really plans things through. Bryan likes to start writing and see where his mind takes him, whether it be a sad story of loss and betrayal or and action-adventure about lost gold and friendship. When he gets a review on his stories, Bryan likes constructive criticism. A good response that isn't necessarily to harsh and mean but doesn't sugarcoat. Bryan doesn't write to much and isn't his own biggest fan, although when he does he has a good time and loves to look back and read old work.
